The route that we take will be planned as we move along since its a little bit hard to plan so far ahead. We will try to post as we go along. We have done some planning of our travel in China, as it is our first destination. Here is a map drawn by Emilie which shows our intended itinerary in China.
In the map below I have indicated the travel times between the places of interest. I got all the train information from a great site http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/ where you can type in Chinese cities and get all the trains that travel between them (not so good if you have to make a stopover). The bus and boat information is from the Lonely Planet China and the Rough Guide to China and may need updating.
